    Founding Statement

Students for School Policy Reform was created on November 15, 2010 by Thomas Joyce with a mission to encourage schools to reevaluate their policies, specifically regarding anti-discrimination and anti-bullying policies.  We seek to achieve reform where necessary through organized petitions, peaceful rallies, and workshops.

We hope to eventually (as in the near future; as in within a few months), have a reporting hotline where students and parents may issue complaints regarding injust school policy.  We also hope to gain nonprofit incorporation and federal nonprofit status (this would be the near future; as in within a year).  Until we can officially become an incorporated nonprofit, we will operate as a nonprofit group.

If you would like to help our cause, please contact Tom at tom@sfspr.org.

If you have a complaint about your school’s policy/policies, please contact Tom at tom@sfspr.org and we will work with you to see that your school will address the issue.
